About the project
As the UK wrestling scene continues to boom and with the rise of WWE NXT UK the desire for fans to learn the craft is growing all the time. As a result two pro wrestlers who have worked up and down the country for years and are now on the books with WWE have taken it upon themselves to open a school with the aim to deliver the best training in the UK. To go along with this aim I was approached by one of these wrestlers (James Drake) to develop a website that would advertise the school and sell training packages.
Overall the approach here was similar to past sites, the primary focus was a page detailing training on offer and the class schedule. These pages were developed following the usual kind of WordPress approach I have done before. What was new here was the addition of a subscription service through WooCommerce which allowed people to sign up to training at two levels.
